P.S. 99's Priority Focus 2020-2021
This school year will be extremely challenging for all of us, and we are clearly working in “unfamiliar territory." However, we still have a responsibility to educate our students to the highest standards.
The Instructional Policy for the 2021-2022 school year is:
to provide social emotional learning for all our students.
to ensure teachers are teaching towards the curriculum/standards.
to provide ongoing assessments so we can meet the needs of all students.
to provide our “bottom ⅓” from K-6 with intense AIS.
to increase student engagement and group discussions amongst all students using ENL protocols.
to provide professional development for our staff so they can improve on their questioning techniques and student engagement.
to provide our parents with workshops so they can apply what their children are learning into the real world.
